If your operating system was incorrectly identified:

BrowserTune simply shows you what your browser reports about itself. If your operating system appeared to be misidentified, then BrowserTune has done its job and found a potential problem on your system: The OS information came from your own system, so if it was incorrect, then someplace long the line, your browser picked up incorrect information about the system it's running on.

This can happen with upgrades, for example--- some identifying information may not be updated to accurately reflect what you've installed.
