BT2K only creates one Cookie: It's called "BT2K" (so you can find it if you want to) and it contains all the test results stored in an array inside it. (BT2K re-uses the same Cookie over and over throughout all the tests.)

Cookies are the only way that BT2K's automation features can work. They let your PC collect information about itself and do the grunt work of testing and analysis for you.

No sensitive information is collected, and BT2K's single Cookie automatically erases itself as soon as you close your browser. It's a temporary Cookie, as opposed to the persistent Cookies that many other sites use. That's worth stating again: BT2K's Cookie is wiped out after the tests are done!

But some people hate Cookies with a passion, and I can understand why: No one likes the feeling that software is sniffing out your machine or your actions. If you're dubious about BT2K's cookies, please click here for more information.

Please also note that The US Department Of Energy's
"Computer Incident Advisory" On Cookies says, "The vulnerability of systems to damage or snooping by using web browser cookies is essentially nonexistent."
